Congratulating Aaron Cardno's Victory at the PolarNorth Half Marathon

That the Parliament congratulates Aaron Cardno from Inverurie on his remarkable victory at the 2025 PolarNorth Half Marathon in Tromsø, Norway; notes the outstanding achievement of the 18-year-old University of Edinburgh student in completing the race in one hour, 13 minutes and 34 seconds, despite challenging Arctic conditions of -9C; recognises the unique nature of this race, taking place during the polar night when the sun never rises above the horizon; commends the former Inverurie Academy pupil's dedication to running since beginning his university studies; celebrates what it sees as this inspiring example of young Scottish sporting talent competing successfully on the international stage, and wishes Aaron continued success in his future sporting endeavours and academic studies.
