That the Parliament commends the work of Reverend Kenneth Elliott, of Prestwick South Parish Church, who has retired after 35 years at the church's helm; understands that in 1989, Kenneth, accompanied by his wife Fiona, took over as minister of the Prestwick South Parish Church of Scotland, following his studies at the University of Glasgow and a probationary period in Paisley; notes Rev Elliott's long service and dedication to the church and the town of Prestwick, which was attested to by the many well-wishers in attendance at his final service; congratulates Rev Elliott on his retirement, and wishes him well for the future.
