That the Parliament congratulates the Lossiemouth resident, Frankie Ralph, on his fantastic achievement of running 100 miles around the town in 17 hours to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer Scotland; recognises that this significant achievement was completed by running 33 laps of Lossiemouth, in Moray; understands that, in spite of the atrocious weather on 2 January 2025 when he completed the challenge, Frankie was supported by large crowds who came to cheer him on, as well as runners who took turns to join him on some of the laps of the town; notes that Frankie decided to undertake this gruelling fundraiser after his friend, Michael Dunbar, also from Lossiemouth, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease at just 33; understands that Frankie's efforts have raised almost £40,000, which will be donated to the Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Research Centre, and commends Frankie for his incredible fundraising effort, and Alzheimer Scotland for the vital work that it does.
