Glasgow Tattoo Studio Gives 100% of its Profits to Animal Sanctuary

  • Submitted by: Annie Wells, Glasgow, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 14 January 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-16081

That the Parliament congratulates Tribe tattoo studio on Bank Street in the west end of Glasgow on giving 100% of its profits to an animal sanctuary, which rescues farm animals; understands that 120 animals at the Clyde Valley animal rescue centre have all been surrendered, abandoned or neglected; further understands that the sanctuary is operating thanks to donations as well as 100% of the profits from Tribe Tattoo Studio; notes that tattoo artist and animal lover, Morag Sangster, founded Tribe Animal Sanctuary in 2017 and that it has provided a safe home for hundreds of sheep, pigs, goats, chickens and donkeys to live out their days, and recognises that the sanctuary does not put down any healthy animals and relies only on the tattoo studio profits and donations from the public to operate.
