That the Parliament congratulates the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) on raising funds for an Alloa charity before Christmas; understands that CAMRA selected Resonate Together, a social enterprise with charitable status, as its official charity partner for the Forth Valley Ale and Cider Festival; further understands that the festival was held in Alloa’s town hall during November 2024, with the fundraising total being revealed after the festive season; notes that attendees to the festival raised more than £800 for Resonate Together, which specialises in using art at the Carsebridge Cultural Campus to further its wider mission of building a stronger, more vibrant community; further notes that, throughout the two-day celebration of all things ale and cider, volunteers from Resonate were on hand to inform attendees about its work and ongoing plans to save the historic Carsebridge distillery buildings; commends everyone involved, including the volunteers, for their tireless and community-focused endeavours, and further commends the local residents for their generosity with donations.
