That the Parliament welcomes the inclusion of an Aberdeen artwork in the Artist Choice category of the Street Art Cities Best of 2024 Awards; notes that the artwork, a mural depicting a girl holding a unicorn, was created by the world-acclaimed, German-born, multidisciplinary artist, Jasmin Siddiqui, popularly known as Hera, as part of the Nuart Aberdeen project, and is located at the side of the Union Point building at Aberdeen Harbour; understands that the finalists for the award, which include artworks from across Europe, as well as India and Canada, were handpicked by a panel of artists, celebrating creativity and innovation in the world of street art, with members of the public being asked to vote for their favourite in an online poll; congratulates the artist herself and the organisers of Nuart Aberdeen, Aberdeen Inspired, on this nomination, and hopes that it is successful in winning the award.
