That the Parliament congratulates the G20 Youth Project in Maryhill, Glasgow, on its plan to take the Great Sri Lanka Tuk-Tuk Adventure, a 1,000km ride navigating the winding roads of Sri Lanka in three-wheeled tuk-tuks, in May 2025 to raise money; understands that the event has been created to inspire charitable fundraising and provide a unique travel experience; notes that those chosen to participate in the fundraising challenge will have to have shown significant life changes and be role models for other young people involved in the G20 Youth Project; believes that this event will be transformational for those who participate, by building confidence, resilience and self-belief, which, hopefully, will have a knock-on impact in their community; understands that the G20 Youth Project was founded in May 2018 in response to young people engaging in problem behaviour in the Maryhill area and that its mission is to enable young people who have experienced significant life trauma to access safe spaces, the arts, opportunities for work, training and personal development and fun, and believes that the G20 Youth Project aims to create a trauma-responsive community where young people are included, heard, valued and supported in the society in which they live.
