Calum Campbell Appointed OBE

That the Parliament congratulates Calum Campbell, latterly the chief executive of NHS Lothian and, among other roles, previously the chief executive of NHS Borders, on being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to healthcare in Scotland; notes that Mr Campbell retired in the summer of 2024 after 40 years of service in the NHS, which culminated in four years at the helm of NHS Lothian, Scotland’s second largest health board, including overseeing much of NHS Lothian’s response to, and recovery from, the COVID-19 pandemic; congratulates Mr Campbell on this recognition, and thanks him and all NHS workers for their invaluable contribution to Scotland’s health service.
