That the Parliament welcomes the inaugural Aberdeen Beer Festival, which is a collaborative initiative between Aberdeen Inspired and Fierce Beer, to be held at the Musical Hall in April 2025; believes that the event is a significant celebration of Scotland's brewing excellence, featuring 14 breweries showcasing the best of local and international craft beers; notes that the festival will run across two sessions, offering attendees a unique opportunity to explore diverse brewing cultures and engage directly with brewers; commends what it sees as the initiative's potential to attract visitors to Aberdeen city centre and support the local economy; believes that the event is a testament to the city's vibrant cultural and economic landscape; considers that such festivals are important in promoting local businesses and tourism; celebrates the collaborative spirit of the craft brewing community; recognises what it sees as the vital role of local businesses in city centre regeneration; calls on the Scottish Government to fully pass on business rates relief to hospitality businesses, which, it believes, are the cornerstone of local communities and economic recovery, and wishes the Aberdeen Beer Festival success in showcasing the city's dynamic and creative spirit.
