That the Parliament celebrates Jasmin Notarangelo for winning the 2024 Young Science Writer of the Year award, for her essay on managing type 1 diabetes; notes that the Musselburgh Grammar School pupil was commended by the judges for an "outstanding piece that presented a compelling message about the accessibility of healthcare"; echoes Jasmin’s call to ensure that everyone with diabetes has access to the best treatment options available, and calls for wider distribution of insulin pumps to those who need one.
