Alloa Academy Triumphs in the Clackmannanshire Secondary Schools Badminton Championships for Third Consecutive Year

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Alloa Academy has won the Clackmannanshire Secondary Schools Badminton Championships for the third consecutive year; notes that the eighth edition of the championships saw 42 pupils from Alloa, Alva and Lornshill academies competing in a high-standard show of skill at Alva Academy; understands that the competitors, which are divided into U14, U16 and U19 age categories, played in singles, level doubles and mixed doubles competitions, with many matches being decided on the last point; notes that the School Shield, awarded based on points given to the top four schools, was clinched by Alloa Academy, with Alva Academy in second place and Lornshill Academy in third; extends its gratitude to Alva Academy for hosting the event, and congratulates all participants on their excellent performances.
