That the Parliament congratulates Colpi Ice Cream, in Milngavie, on winning Best Gelateria/Dessert Café at the Annual Scottish Italian Awards; notes that the process for making Colpi’s ice cream has been handed down generations, since the family immigrated to Scotland from Italy in the 1890s; understands that the ice cream has been made on-site at their Milngavie shop since the business first opened in 1928; commends everyone who works at Colpi’s for their hard work and dedication in bringing tasty ice cream to the people of Milngavie and further afield, and wishes them all the best for the future.
