That the Parliament congratulates Bothwell Futures on securing £10,000 from North Lanarkshire Council's Can Do Community Challenge Fund; recognises the organisation’s ambitious vision to acquire the site in Wooddean Park through a Community Asset Transfer and explore its potential as an all-weather sports facility; understands that the funding has provided valuable support, enabling the organisation to kick-start a community-led working group to develop the idea and appoint an architect to refine the plans; applauds Bothwell Futures for what it sees as its outstanding commitment to strengthening community cohesion and believes that this new venture will be an invaluable asset by creating opportunities for active, healthy and inclusive lifestyles; anticipates the exciting developments to come, and wishes Bothwell Futures every success with this inspiring project.
