That the Parliament congratulates all the nominees and winners at the 2024 Scottish Police Federation Awards ceremony; understands that the awards recognise the bravery of serving police officers and their commitment to their colleagues and their communities; commends PC Ronnie Irvine on winning the Cops’ Cop of the Year Award, as well as the Team of the Year Award with his colleague, PC Martyn Brennan; further commends Christine Fulton MBE on winning the Chair’s Award for her commitment to those left behind following the death of a serving officer; recognises that the awards celebrate the best in Scottish policing; considers that all nominees and winners should be proud of their achievements, and thanks all Police Scotland officers and staff for their continued hard work and dedication to serving all communities across Scotland.
