That the Parliament recognises the work of Scottish artists Andy Scott, Chris Dyson and Emily Womack and their new sculpture for Minnesota United FC; notes that, 10 years on from the launch of their biggest project, the Kelpies in Falkirk, the artists moved to the US when the owner of Minnesota United FC commissioned a giant steel sculpture of Minnesota’s state bird, the loon; understands that Andy came up with the design and that Chris and Emily built it, using the same shipbuilding techniques used on the Kelpies; notes that it has parallels to the Falkirk Kelpies due to the objective of it being regenerative; understands that the response to the piece has been overwhelmingly positive, and notes the reported comments that it looks like it has always been there, and always will be.
