Radio Law to Close after 57 Years

That the Parliament notes, with regret, reports of the closure of Radio Law at University Hospital Wishaw; understands that, after 57 years, the charity will close permanently after its final broadcast of its Christmas extravaganza on 8 December 2024; recognises the hard work and dedication of the volunteers in providing a 24-hour broadcast of entertainment and distraction to patients, staff and loved ones of University Hospital Wishaw, and understands that the station has had an invaluable impact on the community over the years, with several of the volunteers having been recognised by the Hospital Broadcasting Association for their outstanding commitment to the charity.
