Troon Golfer Honoured in Scottish Golf's Order of Merit

That the Parliament congratulates Freya Russell, of Royal Troon Golf Club, who has been honoured in Scottish Golf's prestigious Order of Merit; notes that Freya, who was runner-up at the Scottish Girls' Amateur contest in Forfar and finished in the top 10 at the Scottish Girl's Open at Powfoot, took the title, after recently graduating from Marr College; understands that Freya, who triumphed in the Girls' category, received an individually engraved trophy in recognition of her success; commends Freya's hard work and determination, and wishes her every success for the future.
