Congratulating Glasgow Pollok's City Change Makers

That the Parliament congratulates Govan Housing Association and Make Do and Grow, which are in the Glasgow Pollock constituency, on being awarded funding by City Change Makers; understands that this will be used by the groups to prototype, test and scale their innovative ideas for neighbourhood action, which will aim to build resilience to the impacts of the climate crisis while improving the wellbeing of people; considers the City Change Makers programme to be an innovative model of participatory democracy, involving people across communities in addressing the challenges of the future; believes that models such as those being developed by Govan Housing Association and Make Do and Grow are a key part of empowering communities and of tackling the climate and nature crises; commends both organisations for their work, and wishes them continued success.
