Robert Fleming, 50 Years in the Scotch Whisky Sector

That the Parliament congratulates Robert Fleming, who is the Master Distiller at Tomintoul Distillery, as he marks his 50-year career in the whisky industry; notes that Robert started his career in the sector in 1974 and arrived at Tomintoul in 1990; commends his efforts to refine Tomintoul, which is known as the "gentle dram" and is celebrated for its quality and balance; recognises the contribution that Robert has made, not only to the industry, but also the local economy through his work; understands that that the distillery has produced and released a single malt, the Tomintoul Robert Fleming, in recognition of Robert's achievements, and wishes him every success for the future.
