That the Parliament congratulates Boclair House Hotel, in Bearsden, on being named Glasgow Venue of the Year 2024 at the prestigious Your Scotland Wedding Awards; understands that the annual awards recognise and reward brilliance in the field of customer service and experience, celebrating the finest within the wedding profession; expresses gratitude to the dedicated team at Boclair, led by general manager Richard Archer and wedding and events manager Courtney Shirley, for its outstanding service; notes that Boclair House Hotel is part of the Manorview Hotels, an independent Scottish hospitality group, which was named Hospitality Health Employer of the Year 2024 at the recent Scottish Bar and Pub Awards, in recognition of its efforts in team development, wellbeing and charity; commends Boclair House Hotel for its plans to host Christmas parties in 2024 to bring joy to vulnerable children in need, through the group’s charity, Manorview Foundation, and expresses thanks to staff across the hospitality sector in Scotland whose hard work and efforts, it believes, have such a positive impact on society.
