  • Submitted by: Emma Roddick, Highlands and Islands, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 18 November 2024
  • Motion reference: S6M-15489

That the Parliament congratulates Lossiemouth’s Fisheries and Community Museum on its 40th anniversary; acknowledges that, following the hard work of John Thomson, Jack Scott, Jimmy Gault and Willie Stewart between 1979 and 1984, a museum dedicated to Lossie’s vital fishing industry and community was opened; understands that the museum welcomes many local and international visitors every year and recently hosted a successful coffee morning to mark this significant milestone, and wishes the museum and its team of hardworking volunteers every success going forward.
