Welcoming First Bus Aberdeen's Investment for New Electric Buses

That the Parliament welcomes First Bus's £12.7 million investment in Aberdeen through the introduction of 24 new electric buses and 12 repowered electric buses; recognises the role that this fleet will play in reducing emissions across the city, especially benefitting students and residents along key routes; applauds First Bus for its commitment to a fully zero-emission fleet by 2035, aligning with COP26 targets, and acknowledges what it sees as the positive impact of this investment on Aberdeen's public transport and the just transition.
