EATS Rosyth Secures Asda Foundation Grant

  • Submitted by: Annabelle Ewing, Cowdenbeath, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 18 November 2024
  • Motion reference: S6M-15479

That the Parliament welcomes the news that EATS Rosyth, in Cowdenbeath, has been successful in receiving a grant of £1,000 from the Asda Foundation; notes that the funding has been awarded through the Asda Foundation’s £250,000 Foodbank Fundamentals grant scheme, which is aimed at supporting foodbanks with their essential needs, including food stock, storage, white goods and fuel costs for food deliveries; recognises that foodbanks and local food organisations provide support to some of the most vulnerable people in Scotland's communities when they are facing hard times, and looks forward to EATS Rosyth putting this funding to good use in support of the community that it serves.
