That the Parliament congratulates the volunteers and staff at the Tannahill Centre in Ferguslie Park, Paisley, on receiving The King’s Award for Voluntary Service 2024; understands that the centre received the award for its work in empowering local people to create and provide services for positive living; recognises that The King’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to voluntary organisations in the UK, and is equivalent in rank to the Member of the Order of the British Empire award; notes that the Tannahill Centre is one of just 21 organisations in Scotland to receive the award in 2024, and wishes the volunteers and staff all the best in their continued efforts to support people in their community.
