Recognising Scotland’s Electrical Talent

That the Parliament congratulates Scott Ahern, from East Kilbride, on winning the Scottish Joint Industry Board (SJIB) Apprentice of the Year award; applauds what it sees as his unprecedented enthusiasm and dedication, which saw him stand out among a highly competitive field of emerging talent; acknowledges what it considers to be the importance of electrical apprenticeships in driving innovation and supporting the transition to net zero; expresses appreciation for the vital role that trainers, employers, and organisations like the SJIB and SELECT play in developing the future talent of the industry, and commends Scott, his trainers and his employer, DRB UK Maintenance in Hamilton, for their commitment to excellence in the field.
