That the Parliament congratulates G15 Thriving Places on receiving a grant of £112,450 to assist with contributing to social change and generating hope through the individual and collective empowerment of local people in Drumchapel; commends Thriving Places for engaging in a wide range of activities, both on an individual basis and collective participatory activities, including participatory budgeting, group creation and generating more local control over the individual and collective development of the people of Drumchapel; applauds the community development workers for supporting the people of Drumchapel in aiming to achieve social change, and wishes Thriving Places continued success for the future.
