Drumchapel Friendship House

That the Parliament congratulates Friendship House on receiving a one-year grant of £17,000 to support asylum seekers and refugees; understands that Friendship House provides a venue for meeting together with friends and with other organisations; appreciates the support for asylum seekers and refugees living in Drumchapel who need help with any issue, from form filling to signposting to different agencies; applauds the volunteers who help and commends the use of English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) for assisting with the language challenges facing asylum seekers and refugees, and wishes Friendship House continued success.
