Amanda Currie Braves the Shave

That the Parliament commends Amanda Currie, from Motherwell, for her courageous participation in the Brave the Shave fundraiser in loving memory of her brother, Mick; understands that Brave the Shave involves individuals being sponsored to shave their heads in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity dedicated to assisting those affected by cancer; recognises the thousands of inspiring individuals across the UK who take part in Brave the Shave to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support; applauds Amanda for raising an impressive £602 for the charity; acknowledges the Premier Store in Motherwell and the wider community for their support in facilitating this event, and extends its best wishes to Amanda for her future endeavours, and her continued support of charities.
