That the Parliament congratulates the Alloa Athletic women’s team and coaches on scaling one of Scotland’s most picturesque Munros recently, raising funds for a charity called Heart of the Game; understands that this charity is a venture launched by lifelong Alloa fan, Kieren Mooney, who is also hosting a charity match on 21 December 2024 in memory of his mother, with all proceeds going to the Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH); believes that to do their part, the women’s team climbed Ben Lomond on 3 November 2024; notes that Heart of the Game was originally launched by Kieren in 2019 to raise funds for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, and commends everyone involved for their highly magnanimous endeavours.
