Sportscotland Gold School Sport Award for St Cuthbert's Primary School, Hamilton

That the Parliament congratulates St Cuthbert’s Primary School, in Hamilton, on being awarded a Gold School Sport Award from sportscotland; notes that sportscotland's School Sport Award is a national initiative that recognises and celebrates successful school sport models and aims to put young people at the heart of decision making, planning and implementation; understands that sportscotland was particularly impressed by the school’s sport committee and recognised that the sports agenda in the school is progressing with the help of a strong group of young people; commends St Cuthbert’s Primary School for showing excellent practice across the core areas of the award and for continuing to put sport at the heart of its planning, practice and ethos, and wishes the staff and pupils of St Cuthbert’s Primary continued success in helping children and young people to progress in physical education, school sport and leadership.
