Vincenzo's Fish and Chips Raises Funds for Stirling and District Women's Aid

That the Parliament congratulates the Stirling takeaway, Vincenzo’s Fish and Chips, on raising over £1,300 for Stirling and District Women’s Aid, which it sees as a very worthwhile cause; understands that the takeaway offered a reduced-price menu over two days, including a haddock supper for £3.70 and a portion of chips for £1; notes that some menu items offered the chance for customers to win special prizes; further notes that people commented on the excellent atmosphere with long queues, good music and delicious food; celebrates the generosity of customers, who helped raise £1,312.50, as well as an additional £80 from donations; congratulates the staff at Vincenzo’s Fish and Chips for their efforts and what it considers to be a great achievement of feeding over 600 people; notes that the takeaway has already set the date for next year’s fundraiser, and wishes it every success.
