Killermont Primary School Awarded Gold for Sport

That the Parliament congratulates Killermont Primary School, in Bearsden, on attaining the Gold School Sport Award by sportscotland; recognises the encouragement and support of head teacher Mrs Frances McLauchlan and the senior management team in fostering an ethos of respect, kindness, fairness and honesty in the school; commends the dedication of staff and pupils in establishing a strong Sport Committee with pupils from P3 to P7; applauds the commitment of the staff team in delivering a vast number of extra-curricular activities to improve fitness, health and wellbeing in ways that are fun, enabling maximum participation and lasting outcomes; sends its grateful thanks to the team at sportscotland for its enthusiasm and support, and wishes everyone at Killermont Primary School continued enjoyment of sports and lasting impact of this award.
