That the Parliament congratulates all at Banff Academy on the achievement of attaining the Gold School Sport Award from sportscotland; recognises that the School Sport Award is a national initiative designed to encourage schools to put young people at the heart of decision making, planning and implementation of school sport, encouraging schools to self-reflect and continuously improve, recognise and celebrate successful school sport models, while building sporting links between schools and the communities around them, and providing opportunities for young people to progress; considers that this achievement not only brings honour to Banff Academy, but also positively impacts the local community; acknowledges the award as a testament to the hard work of the pupils, and the passion and dedication of the staff of Banff Academy, and wishes all at Banff Academy continued success in the months and years to come.
