That the Parliament congratulates Belville Community Garden Trust, in Greenock, on its 10th anniversary; notes that the garden was established by local residents in 2014 and has since become a major food growing hub and community space, working with schools and local groups and coordinating arts- and health-related projects; understands that the garden has gone from strength to strength over the past decade, playing a critical role during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing food boxes to those in isolation; welcomes the direct employment opportunities and placements with local employers that the Trust provides; applauds the work done to put diversity and inclusion at the heart of its work; understands that a programme of events is currently ongoing to mark the anniversary, and wishes everyone involved with Belville Community Garden Trust every success for the future.
