That the Parliament commends the 11 organisations from the Uddingston and Bellshill constituency on being awarded £389,286 in total in National Lottery Community Fund grants; acknowledges that Bellshill and Mossend YMCA received £20,000 to support core operations and community and youth activities in Bellshill; notes that Burnhead Bowling Club received £2,200 for a one-year project aimed at supporting families and older people through weekly activities, seasonal events and community trips in Viewpark; recognises that the Fair Play Foundation received £20,000 to fund a two-year physical activity programme for older adults in Lanarkshire and east Glasgow; acknowledges that Thorniewood Community Council received £10,850 to organise a year-long series of free community events; understands that Family Service Unit Scotland received £199,999 to continue its intensive support programme for women in Lanarkshire facing challenges such as substance abuse, mental health issues, domestic violence or involvement with the criminal justice system; notes that Joint Ex Service Veterans Garden received £8,880 to maintain and enhance a peaceful garden space for veterans and the community in Whitelaw, Hamilton; recognises that African Collaboration Group received £20,000 to fund staff and contribute to the running costs of Jerviston Community Centre; acknowledges that African Lanarkshire For Mental Health received £10,000 to run an 18-month youth project for children aged five to 12 in Jerviston; notes that Best Way Community Development received £81,257 to deliver a financial and digital inclusion project for new Scots living across North Lanarkshire; recognises that the Good Deed received £10,000 to support a one-year project focused on building community connections and developing new skills; acknowledges that Springfield Gardens Residents Association received £6,100 to continue events and activities for residents of a retirement housing community in Uddingston; recognises these organisations as cornerstones of the Uddingston and Bellshill community, bringing people together and inspiring positive change, and congratulates all of their staff and volunteers for their dedication to brightening up their communities.
