Jogscotland Awards 2024

That the Parliament congratulates George Findlay of Anster Allsorts running club in Anstruther on being named Jog Leader of the Year at the 2024 jogscotland awards in Glasgow on 26 October 2024; understands that George was recognised for inspiring his group with his easy going, approachable style; notes that he was also commended for his work supporting charities and for helping club members of all ages and abilities to train for fundraising events; commends George’s focus on inclusion, improved fitness and mental health; congratulates the other winners and nominees included in the awards, and celebrates the role of running clubs across Scotland in bringing communities together.
