That the Parliament congratulates Dumbarton Academy on receiving the We Promise Award; welcomes its commitment to improving the educational outcomes for its care-experienced young people; notes that it achieved this after 70% of its staff completed professional learning to enhance the support they are able to give to ensure they are encouraging the young people to reach their full potential in a safe, cared for and respected manner; understands that this professional learning provides them with further understanding of The Promise and the commitments it has set out to improve inclusion and outcomes in education through focusing on the specific needs of care-experienced children and young people, and thanks all of the staff for giving children in their care what it sees as the best possible educational experience.
