That the Parliament congratulates Hand of Solace on receiving a grant of £12,117 from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that Hand of Solace, which was formed in 2018 and is based at Regent Quay in Aberdeen, offers support to socially isolated and disadvantaged members of Aberdeen, aiming to reduce social isolation and the impact of disadvantages to promote the health and mental wellbeing of service users to allow them to live happier lives; understands that this grant will be used to deliver a 12-month programme of activities specifically aimed towards helping black women in Aberdeen; hopes that these funds will help ensure that this programme is delivered successfully, and wishes Hand of Solace and its volunteers all the best in its endeavours.
