That the Parliament congratulates Jacqui Innes on winning the Heart of the Community Award at this year’s Celebrate Aberdeen Awards; understands that Jacqui, who has lived within the Northfield area of Aberdeen for all her life, was recognised for her work at Northfield Community Centre and her contribution within the wider community for over 40 years; acknowledges that many within the local community describe Jacqui as being “Mrs Northfield” and the heart and soul of the community, and notes that the Celebrate Aberdeen Awards, which shine a spotlight on some of the third sector organisations and individuals who work and volunteer across Aberdeen, took place at the Chester Hotel on 26 October 2024, with eight awards being handed out to individuals and groups who make a significant impact to people's lives.
