That the Parliament commends YMCA Tayside for its successful award of £100,267 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for its innovative Enterprising Heritage Project; recognises the importance of this project in fostering meaningful connections between people of all ages and their local heritage, allowing them to explore, celebrate and contribute to the preservation of their community’s rich history and traditions; notes that the project will not only provide educational opportunities but will also enhance community engagement, bringing together young people and older generations to learn from one another and develop a shared sense of identity and pride in their physical and cultural surroundings; applauds the National Lottery Heritage Fund for its continued investment in heritage projects across Scotland, and highlights what it sees as the broader benefits that this funding brings in preserving heritage for future generations.
