Edinburgh Pentlands' GP Practices Score High in Health and Care Experience Survey

That the Parliament notes the publication of the Health and Care Experience Survey 2024 by Public Health Scotland; welcomes the results from the Your General Practice section, which show that a number of GP practices in the Edinburgh Pentlands constituency with high overall positive responses, including ease of contacting the General Practice, making an appointment and overall care provided by the General Practice; understands that Riccarton Medical Practice scored the highest locally for overall care provided at 96% followed by the Pentlands Medical Practice with 93%, Braids Medical Practice scored 91%, Colinton Surgery scored 89% and Firrhill Medical Centre scored 84%, and congratulates the medical and administrative teams at the practices for their diligence in delivering a professional, caring and compassionate service for the communities they serve.
