As an amendment to motion S6M-14820 in the name of John Swinney (Challenge Poverty Week), insert at end “and scrap the two-child limit, and further agrees that the Scottish Government must respect the will of the Scottish Parliament and reverse its decisions on peak rail fares and free school meals, continue to build a more progressive tax system in Scotland by reforming the unfair council tax, writing off council tax debt, and giving local authorities the power to use wealth taxes to raise revenue for public services, take the necessary steps towards a minimum income guarantee that are within devolved powers, and ensure that affordable housing and sustainable funding for the third sector are prioritised.”
