Glasgow Charity Raises over £16,000 for Breast Cancer Now

That the Parliament congratulates Charity Heroes on raising more than £16,000 for research into breast cancer and support for those with the condition; notes that the annual fundraising masquerade-themed ball was held in aid of Breast Cancer Now; understands that the money raised will help to improve the support available for those diagnosed with breast cancer; further understands that, every 10 minutes, someone in the UK hears the words "you have breast cancer"; notes that Breast Cancer Now is working towards a future where everyone with breast cancer lives, and is supported to live, well; acknowledges that the vital funds raised by Charity Heroes will help to drive forward life-saving research and provide support for those affected by breast cancer, and understands that the charity was established in 2018 and that it has raised £141,000 for a range of causes, all providing essential support to those in need, including Sepsis Research FEAT and the National Autistic Society Scotland.
