That the Parliament congratulates the Royal Northern Agricultural Society (RNAS) award winners; congratulates Durris farmer, Pete Watson, who has a family-run beef and arable operation, on his Press and Journal/RNAS shield for services by a public figure or personality to agriculture award; congratulates George Duncan on winning the 2024 Aberdeen and Northern Marts “local award”; notes that until his retirement in 2023, George spent many years serving the farming sector with his business George Duncan Agri Solutions; congratulates Nicola Wordie, of Huntly, who was awarded the Scotland’s Rural College award for someone 35 years or under who has shown significant achievement and contribution in agriculture, which, it understands also recognised her “high level of stockmanship” and commitment to promoting the industry, including via her large social media following; congratulates Lucy Gordon, from Strathdon, who was the 2024 recipient of the Johnston Carmichael-sponsored award for a farmer's son or daughter working at home, and wishes all the award winners every success for their future within the agricultural sector in the north.
