Celebrating the Success of the Ayrshire Tigers' 2023-24 Season

That the Parliament congratulates the Ayrshire Tigers Powerchair Football Club on another successful season; understands that the Tigers won the 2023-24 League Cup Plate, and that the matches leading up to this win were the club's first since the passing of its former captain, James Doull, who was known as "#17"; notes that the Tigers held its annual awards night on 27 August 2024 to recognise excellence among the team, with its former head coach, Adam McGovern, speaking about the prize winners, the current head coach, Ashley McKay, calling out the winners and the club sponsor, Irwin Mitchell, handing out the prizes; commends Cameron Torrance on winning the James Doull Award for the Players' Player of the Year and the Top Goal Scorer award; congratulates Pauline Paterson on being named the Coaches' Player of the Year, Rys McNiven on being recognised as the Most Improved Player and Stuart Niven on winning the Top Assists award; recognises the role that Gordon Rainey played as club treasurer in sourcing significant grant funding prior to stepping down and Jim Torrance for his role in organising the awards; commends the Ayrshire Tigers' players, coaches, sponsors and supporters on a fantastic season, and wishes them all the best for the 2024-25 season.
