South Scotland Success at 2024 Beautiful Scotland Awards

That the Parliament welcomes the success enjoyed by various local community bloom groups from the South Scotland region at the 2024 Beautiful Scotland Awards; notes that the 2024 winners included Blooming Haddington, which won three awards, namely the Medium Town Trophy, the David Welch Memorial Award for Something Special for the Amisfield Walled Garden and the Haddington 700 Award for St Mary's Pleasance Garden; recognises that Earlston in Bloom won in the Large Village Trophy category; notes the award of Gold Certificates to Blooming Haddington, Brighten up Kirkconnel, and Earlston in Bloom, a Silver Gilt Certificate to Flourishing Forth, and Certificates of Recognition to Aberlady in Bloom, Dunbar in Bloom, Eyemouth Enhancement Group, Lauder in Bloom and North Berwick in Bloom; congratulates all of the award and certificate winners and other nominees, as well as their volunteers and the local authorities that support them, and commends them for their ongoing efforts to help make their communities more attractive and welcoming places to live and visit.
