That the Parliament congratulates Rutherglen comedian, Colette Boyd, on reaching the finals of the recent Laurel Awards at the Britannia Panopticon in Glasgow; notes that the Awards commemorated former Rutherglen resident and comedy legend, Stan Laurel, who made his debut at the Panopticon in 1906; understands that over the past year Colette has quickly established herself as a talented regular on the Scottish stand-up circuit, and wishes her all the best for her future endeavours.
