That the Parliament congratulates five organisations based in the Strathkelvin and Bearsden constituency on securing support through the National Lottery Community Fund in the most recent round of awards; understands that a total of £70,793 was received following successful applications from seven local organisations; congratulates Deafblind Scotland, based in Kirkintilloch, on being awarded a £17,823 grant to increase the number of Deafblind champions from 30 to 70 across Scotland, which will help to support their invaluable work in leading outreach sessions that raise awareness of deafblindness; welcomes that social enterprise Stitch the Gap CIC in Kirkintilloch has received £20,000 to support its youth board to explore sustainable costume design, as the enterprise continues to provide workshops to bridge the sewing machine skills gap so that this valuable, life-long skill is not lost; understands that a £9,500 grant, received by Bardowie Tennis Club, will be used to build a new clubhouse and add a disabled toilet; applauds East Dunbartonshire Voluntary Action for its tireless work and notes that a £5,870 grant will help the group to host a volunteers' celebration event to mark 40 years of support to the local community; welcomes that Families of Auchinairn Coming Together will use £17,600 of funding to help reduce loneliness and isolation through regular, free craft sessions in the local community centre, and sends its very best wishes and thanks to all who give their time, energy and experience to supporting these groups to have impact in Strathkelvin and Bearsden.
