Team Scotland, World Schools Debating Champions

That the Parliament sends its congratulations to Team Scotland on its victory at the World Schools Debating Championships 2024; understands that the squad overcame New Zealand, Pakistan, England, Qatar and Bulgaria in the final to secure first place; commends Team Scotland for drawing level with England as the second most successful team in tournament history, with five victories since the competition began in 1988, and behind only Australia, and wishes the squad, consisting of Logan Moss of Dollar Academy, Miya Turner of Portobello High School, Lena Zielinska of Broxburn Academy, Sophie Hannigan of St Columba's and Callum Hendry of St Columba's, the very best for the future.
