Kildrummy Inn Wins Scottish AA Inn of the Year Award

  • Submitted by: Alexander Burnett, Aberdeenshire West, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 22 July 2024
  • Motion reference: S6M-13929

That the Parliament congratulates the 200-year-old Kildrummy Inn on being named the AA Inn of the Year for Scotland after a major refurbishment; understands that the Kildrummy Inn defeated hundreds of similar hospitality venues across Scotland to scoop this major accolade; notes that the inn is run by David and Sophie Littlewood, who bought the lease in 2013; understands that the AA inspector’s report noted that the traditional inn was a perfect base to explore the Grampian Mountains and beyond, whilst sampling its award-winning cuisine; further understands that, following this win, the venue will now compete in the UK finals in autumn 2024 in London, and wishes the team at the Kildrummy Inn every success in the future.
